What we do

Pure water, a soft brush, no ladder on the siding

Windows get dirty slowly. Pollen, road film, hard water from the sprinkler and whatever ran off the siding build up a little at a time, until one day the rooms feel darker and the house looks tired from the street without an obvious reason.

Outside, we clean with a water-fed pole. The water is filtered until nothing is left in it, so it dries without spots and there is no soap to streak. A soft brush on the end of the pole scrubs the glass, the frame and the sill, then a final rinse of pure water does the drying. We reach third-story glass from the ground. No ladder leans on your siding, your gutters or your landscaping.

  • What comes off: pollen, dust film, spider webs, bird droppings, sprinkler spots that have not etched, and the grime packed into tracks and sills.
  • What we clean: exterior glass, frames, sills and tracks on every side of the house. Screens come off, get washed and go back in. Skylights where we can reach them.
  • Interior: cleaned by hand with a squeegee and a towel on its own scheduled day, with drop cloths down and shoes off or covered.

Why it matters

What clean windows change

It is the most noticeable exterior improvement for the least disruption, and the one most people put off longest.

Light in the rooms

A film you cannot see from inside still takes a share of the daylight. Most homeowners say the first thing they notice after a cleaning is how bright the kitchen is, not how the glass looks.

The glass and the seals

Hard water left on glass for years etches it. Grit left in the tracks chews the weatherstripping and makes windows stick. Cleaning the sills and tracks, not just the panes, is what keeps that from happening.

The look from the street

Dirty glass reads as a dirty house even when the siding is clean. If you are washing the house or putting it on the market, the windows are the finishing step.

Straight answers

What window cleaning does and does not do

  • Hard water stains that have etched the glass do not come off with cleaning. They need a separate restoration treatment. If we see them at the assessment, we tell you first and say whether it is worth doing.
  • Fogged double-pane glass is moisture between the panes from a failed seal. No cleaning fixes it. We point it out so you know which windows those are.
  • Interior and exterior are scheduled on separate days. Exterior work does not need you home. Interior work does.
  • Paint and construction residue on new or recently painted windows is a different job. Tell us and we will quote it separately.
  • How often: once or twice a year for most homes. Houses near a busy road, under trees or with lawn sprinklers hitting the glass benefit from spring and fall.
How it works

Three steps, no surprises

1. Free Exterior Assessment

We walk the house with you and count the windows on each side, check for etching and failed seals, and note anything hard to reach. You get a written price for exterior, interior or both.

2. The day before

We text a short list: close and lock the windows, move anything leaning against the house, unlock the gate, leave the outside spigot on. For interior days, clear the sills.

3. Cleaning day

Exterior on most houses takes one to three hours. Screens come off, glass and frames get scrubbed and rinsed, screens go back. You get photos by text when we leave.

Questions homeowners ask

Before you book

Why no soap? Will pure water really leave the glass clear?

Tap water leaves spots because of the minerals in it. Our water is filtered until those are gone, so when it dries there is nothing left behind. The brush does the scrubbing and the pure water does the rinsing. It is the same method used on office buildings, scaled to a house.

Do I need to be home?

Not for the exterior. We need the gate unlocked, the windows closed and the outside spigot on. For interior cleaning you or someone you trust needs to be home, and we schedule that as its own visit.

What if a window is missed or still has a spot?

Tell us within 30 days and we come back and fix it at no charge. That is the 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Etched hard water stains and fogged seals are not cleaning problems, and we point those out before we start so there is no surprise.
